R & R

So I've over-worked & over-partied myself to sickness! The last few weeks have been crazy busy with festivities, work and study. Now I am sick as a dog. Today I called in sick to work as I couldn't bare an 8 hour shift. So I will be sleeping/ reading/ relaxing/ blogging.. dare I say- studying? At least, I have my blogging! These pictures are pretty & inspiring!

Wish for Winter

It's been hot & humid here on the Sunshine Coast for the past few days= yucky.

Even though I do sometimes start work as early as 6am and can admit getting up that early when its dark and freezing isn't a highlight of the cold season. That may be the only downside.

I want the cold! I want it to be so cold I can snuggle up with a hot chocolate, wear jeans everyday, have a reason to buy boots, etc. Not to mention winter cooking- I try not to brag but I think my boyfriend is the most amazing cook in the world and we love making things like chicken & pumpkin soup, risotto, etc. Cmon cold weather!

Weekend

I have my brother's 21st party to attend, and today is also me & my boyfriend's 2 year anniversary!

Lots of celebrations & fun to be had.

Celebrations

I had a lovely weekend of birthday/easter celebrations/good times and am really glad I got to spend it with the great people in my life!

My wonderful boyfriend & mother cooked me a delicious breakfast for my bday- pancakes with bacon, avocado, tomatoes etc... YUM!!! Presents & easter eggs all day.. plus seeing family & friends, couldn't get much better. My boyfriend Geoff got me a stunning ring as my bday present, it's a silver serpant with a 'garnet' stone and I LOVVVVVVE it!

Not to mention definetely feeling the aftermath of Easter Sunday and all the chocolaty goodness involved. Never can have too much chocolate on Easter.

Happy Easter & Happy Birthday

Tomorrow (Sunday) it is Easter and my 19th birthday! So celebrations all round. My boyfriend is also turning 21 in a few days, which is exciting! So this month is full of celebrations and they have allready begun with a big family easter lunch and tonight a mexican birthday dinner for moi! Let the partying begin! Can't wait to road trip to Brisbane & Goldcoast to have a few very fun weekends.

Autumn looks
