Opening Ceremony Spring Schwartzman & Dunst

What a brilliant short film by Gia Coppola - granddaughter of Francis Ford and niece to Sofia - who co-directed, along with Tracy Antonopoulos, a short film entitled "Non Plus One" starring her cousin Jason Schwartzman and Kirsten Dunst!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Created for Opening Ceremony's Spring Line with the actors wearing the clothing.

The film takes on inspiration from French New Wave cinema (similar techniques to Godard's films).

The music behind the short film is by Schwartzman's musical-alter-ego Coconut Records, using the song "Is This Sound Okay?" which creates such a great vibe contributing to the boy-meets-girl sweet tale.

The film is has a very "home made video" film to it, adding to the realistic feel to the story.
 It's such a brilliant idea and I'm so in love with the photographic feel to the shots - makes me feel like getting my retro-on and start taking retro photographs.

Challenges

Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional.

Relaxing is Great

Having a lazy day at home is always brilliant. Although at least I have done "some" uni work.

These photographs sum up my day. Looking at beautiful clothing, watching some fashion tv and enjoying the peace and quiet of the boys not being home.

Good Morning Autumn (Fall)

So today is the first day of Autumn! How exciting! So glad that it's cooling down and shall be able to wear lovely clothes without sweating. Oh how I love Autumn and Winter.

Even more exciting, exactly 1 month today and I shall be in Bali with my lover, and we will be doing all kinds of amazing things! (Including but not limited to - elephant riding, monkey seeing, going to spas, having massages, cocktails by the pool, walking around markets finding bargains SHOPPING, lapping up the sun and the surf, and rekindling our love!)

Will be taking loads of photos and having a ball. Will be my first real holiday, and with my lovely boyfriend, I couldn't wish for anything more brilliant.
