Cat's Bedroom

So here are some photos of my bedroom which I adore. As I've moved back to my Mum's house, I've been able to decorate my room as feminine as I like. Even though I'm a bit of a tom-boy, I do enjoy pretty things and have started to develop quite a liking to purples and pinks. Gone are the days of no-colour. I'm now embracing COLOUR! It's amazing what a difference eclectic pieces to my room make me feel. I've always got something to do in my room (which is obviously WHY I'm struggling to study right now...).
I bought a few things from TYPO the other day (what a fantastic shop it is) and it satisfied my love for stationary and Paris. As you can see, I have a few 'Paris' inspired pieces in my room (to help with my study and saving toward a trip there in 2 years once I finish Uni). Hope you have a great day :) LOVE CAT XOXO (All photographs by me)

My lovely new pillows from Target. I consider the squiggley one to be as good as I'll get to a real Missoni pillow. It's so comfortable though.

My new wall decal. Gives me inspiration when I'm lying in bed. Bought it off eBay for about $5.

My Paris street print mug from TYPO. I have a few mugs I've gotten from TYPO and they are all so amazing. I love collecting them and each one makes me smile

Gucci by Gucci perfume my bf got for me. Burberry lighter. Chanel Noir Ceramic nail polish. Sportsgirl Milkshake Nail It. Crochet headband. YSL eye palette & Dior Diorshow mascara. AM Eyewear sunglasses
My cabinet in my closet. Stocking some essentials. I have a fair collection of sunglasses. Most are relatively cheap as I don't see too much of a purpose of lashing out on something I'd probably break or stand on. The only expensive eyewear I own are my AM Eyewear sunglasses and my Rayban Wayfarers (vintage tort and new black).

I love my Absolut Vodka Rock Edition leather case from Liz for my 21st. It's currently storing the vodka that hasn't been consumed.... all yet.

My little Eiffel tower necklace and leaf pendant a friend made me.

A new addition to my huge handbag collection. This is from Sportsgirl and is a cross between Alexander Wang and Miu Miu (in my opinion anyway). It's the perfect grey bag I've been looking for without a hefty price tag. Since I'd been using my Prada one to death, I decided to use this to death instead.

AHH I MISS LIZ! She's currently travelling Europe with her boyfriend... Missing her dearly! I love this polaroid of us, brings a smile to my dial to have such a great friend.

I love this ELLE cover and I love Chloe Sevigney and Miu Miu soooo this was a definite YES purchase (my newsagents rarely get anything GOOD from overseas) and the latest SHOP magazine with Alexa Chung. I really only buy lots of magazines in winter because you have more styling and layering options... summer is all about no-clothes and skin. Yuck. Loving this winter weather lately.

I also bought 2 books from a book store which had a heap of random books on sale. So of course, I always managed to find really cool different books that appeal to my taste in a variety of culture and arts.

This notebook was from TYPO and I just love the quote on the front! SO INSPIRING and relevant to my current "single" status (still recovering from a broken/confused heart and mind)

"Life is compared to a VOYAGE. Promise yourself to be strong, that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. Look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true. Think only of the best, work only for the best and expect only the best. Forget the mistakes of the past and press on the greater achievements of the future."

2 more notebooks from TYPO. London and Paris.

A photograph from the following book.
So many good photographs and random crazy photographs from years and years ago. Very inspirational for photography. Incredibly random and eclectic.

This is more of a coffee table book with photographs by Barry Feintein and text/poetry by Bob Dylan. This was an exceptional find in the bookstore as it was really cheap and in my eyes 'priceless'. Great photography and abstract poetry. I love this photo of Sophia Loren and Bette Davis.

Thankyou sweetness :)
It's funny how much buying and decorating can heal the heart. Or at least distract it for awhile. haha.
Much love and thanks for following our blog :)
XOXO
Cat
